Yes what a whirlwind of a month

Yes we both have been very busy of late. It is time for an update which will be written soon. I visited UK as you saw in the previous post for a 3week period (most of October) hence the dry patch on the blog. We loved our time spent together, and even more so after the exciting surprise engagement which was a.may..zing!! What a trip it was, very special for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed and cherished each second of the days together.

I had been on the job search whilst Elisa was busy at work and had a few other stinging issues which needed dealing with urgently. All has been rectified now on Elisa's end which is great. I have now found a new position at a restaurant as a Kitchen Manager / Chef. I will wait a bit longer to see if it is the right position for me, lots of standing and many 16 hour days with hardly a break.

Elisa is finally looking excited for her family visit to Argentina which will happen very soon. I believe 23rd December she heads off. (that is correct isn't it babe?) I will have to find a way to communicate with my carino whilst she is over there, even though I know she will be super busy with family and friends.

Its Linda, my sisters birthday tomorrow - although due to my new job I have to work the evening so will miss out on her special day, therefore as this is my half day off (working 5pm-midnight) I managed to arrange lunch today so better head out now and meet her or I will be late.

More to come..this post is to be continued.

I love you gorgeous!! Looking forward to seeing you shortly xxxxxx Besotes xxxxxx

Time to write again....

Okay, I think it has been a while that this blog has not been updated and this is not acceptable! hehe.

So many things happened since our last posts that we did not share it, I have been busy working manic hours at work but this is going to change. From now on, I will start updating our blog more often.

First of all I should share the news that Mark came to visit me in the UK in October and was amazing to have him back here. I already updated about it previously with a new picture of us in another quick photoblog post earlier in October. One of the secrets that he kept very quiet was that he came back with a plan and this was to propose!!...  I will write more about the proposal in a very separate blog but that happened on the 09/10/12, a very special date for us now!

He was also here to relax with me for three weeks and I wish you stayed, Mark, but we have a plan and sometimes sacrifices have to be made. I have got lots and lots of pictures to share but I am not sure where to start. Maybe we should also write a post for every single place we visited and our views and experiences? what do you think Mark? if you agree, you are also welcomed to start the blogs if you have got the time. I will start preparing something but that requires time and dedication and this is what I am lacking these days... hopefully it will ease soon when work comes back to normal business and I stop working overtime!.

I just wanted to share these two cute pics taken a day after the great engagement news, it was a very windy and freezing day but we had such a great time! we always do!!! x x

Countdown..not long now babe

Very much looking forward to our re-uniting on the 2nd October. By the time we see each other it would have been 24 weeks or 171 days or 4104 hours or 246,240 minutes, or 14,774,400 seconds apart from each other.

However, our love has grown stronger, our plans have moved further and our lives soon to be forever together. We will cherish and enjoy each and every minute with each other as we know the importance and seriousness of time and will not take it for granted. We will utilise our time wisely to love, celebrate and enjoy each others company and have an a..may..zing time.

HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY CARINO XXXXXX FELIZ ANNIVERSARIO

Promised ballad..It began on a sweet September morning

It began on a sweet September morning:
I was waiting outside the m&m store walking around,
She came to be the most a..may..zing woman, ever found.

She became my novia,
My a..may..zing novia,
My beautiful cari
ño Elisa.

We get on now so well together,
Living and loving each other,
We want to be together, forever.
We want family and all.

One morning, one sweet morning,
We decided to focus on our future lives.
So together we put forward plans,
It’s great,.. although may start in St Ives!

I love my cari
ño, my true love;
my darling novia Elisa.

And then it came to be, future llega:

Oh things were happening, progress upon us!

She ran over, kissed and hugged me,
Woah, you are here, December visit Sydney!
My cari
ño hugs and kisses me, our hearts pound in synchrony.
It was lovely, so lovely; our tears run happily.

The next day, together in bed, lips had cracked,
eyes, smiles.. open with love, liven the senses,
It was the kissing and staring though, that had re-awoken.

Now always, my cari
ño is in my daily thoughts,
I think about how it all changed that morning,
That sweet September morning.

My heart holds ready for the final day,
When I think of my beautiful carino,
My beautiful carino Elisa, running into my arms..
Forever to stay.

(Dedicated to our past, present and happy and genial future together)

I think of you ....

Mark,

I just downloaded an application to edit videos, it only allowed me to use limited pictures and also at the beginning it is a bit crazy but I think that because it is my first ever video I can be forgiven.... hehe.

The lyrics are very much what I think! :)

I hope you like it ! xxx

I think of you - Sixto Rodriguez

Just a song we shared I'll hear
Brings memories back when you were here
Of your smile, your easy laughter
Of your kiss those moments after

I think of you
And I think of you
And think of you.

Of the dreams we dreamt together
Of the love we vowed would never
Melt like snowflakes in the sun
My days now end, as they begun

With thoughts of you
And I think of you
And think of you.

Down the streets I'd walk with you
Seeing others doing
Things we used to do.
Now these thoughts they're haunting me
Of how complete, I used to be
And in these times that we're apart
I'll hear that song that breaks my heart

And I think of you
And think of you.{bis.
Refrain...
And I do.
Refrain...

Surprise surprise!

I just wanted to write a quick post today as an update. So here I go...

My gorgeous cariño Elisa  has once again surprised me with news that she has been able to book time off to see me in December which is awesome news and very exciting for both of us. It is not official though until we get confirmation of all bookings put into place. Currently as it stands it looks like the dates will be set as 22nd Dec to 11th Jan still leaving the weekend for Elisa to get back and rest before work on the 14th Jan. We both look forward to organising this trip to enable us to be together again, which is Genial!

The other surprises have been early Birthday presents for both of us (as our birthdays are separated only by 50 days), which has been a..may..zing too. Elisa gets a new Ipod Touch 32GB and I get a new Samsung SIII and both of us overwhelmed with happiness as they were both much wanted items as Elisa wanted it for photos, music and applications and my phone has been troublesome lately and so it was good to get the order put through.

Next surprise may be arriving sooner than planned.... Watch this space to find out!!
I love you and miss you dearly babe and cannot wait to see you and finally spend quality time with you!

Our Valentine Day dinner at Rasoi Restaurant

Our trip to the Restaurant
Today, we just remembered our Valentine's dinner date at the prestigious Rasoi (by Vineet Bhatia) Restaurant. And I thought why not posting it on our blog as I must confess that this was one of the best experiences in my life.

I have never been to a very posh restaurant before but there is always a first time for everything and that night I felt like a real princess. I must mention that this is normal and regular Mark's treatment towards me but the night was a surprise that you kept  very quiet! I remember you mentioning that we had to dress relatively smartly as we were going to have dinner at Chelsea! the first thought was 'Wow, this sounds like a posh dinner'.

We arrived there just in time to find the place, we walked around Lincoln St. but we couldn't locate the restaurant. Our appointment was at 7pm (I think Mark?) and it was a bit dark as it was in February, but after a few minutes we found the place! it looked like a house from outside and I wasn't sure what to expect.

We then went through the entrance and a person greeted us and took our coats. I felt the first impression of 'Uh-oh, we are in a very posh place!'. After the doorman took our coats he seated us at one of the tables and the place was empty from inside the experience was really nice, the place had lots of Indian atmosphere and the staff very welcoming and friendly. After our arrival they informed us that there was a complimentary food from the house and they placed it on our table... the rest was just a feast of plates that kept coming to our table. Unfortunately I do not recall the names of the dishes but Mark, if you remember any you could perhaps go to this post and Edit the captions for the photos? if not the full menu is here http://www.rasoi-uk.com/prestige.php and I have got pictures to prove how wonderful that night and the dishes were! I didn't want to destroy the pieces of art! he he

I now understand why not many people were there, the menu is around £100 or more per head! .... Mark, you absolutely know how to keep a girl happy with small and big presents all the time! I still cannot believe it, you are an amazing gentleman! :) I have got other experiences that Mark took me too... to follow!

Here are the pics of the amazing plates:

My second trip to Austria - To visit the family!

Okay, a while ago Mark expressed that he wanted to know about my experiences in Austria specifically from my last trip as the first trip you were there so I am sure you know how a great time we had!. I think I am inspired to tell my story and share my thoughts today so let's make the most of it.

Firstly, I wanted to say Mark, after my comments saying that you don't write a lot in our blog, I  must admit that the last three posts are yours so I am very impressed. hun! hehe... Tell me about girl power, (hehe...love you! x)

Okay, on the 17th June 2012 I went to Austria to visit Andy (your mum) and this trip was fully funded by you. I wanted to say thanks for that! which I am still very grateful about it and thinking back, I think I deserved that weekend away after so many stressful days at work. On top of stresses, June was an usual monthly weather behaviour in the UK! (raining, raining and raining non-stop. The most interesting fact, is that June is meant to be Summer in the UK!) Oh well!

So on the 17th of June I flew to Austria, I must admit that before traveling I had mixed feelings (as a normal person I had that small fear to the unknown) By now, I met Sylvia (your grandma) and I knew what to expect from her because luckily she likes me :) hehe. But I wasn't sure about meeting your mum when you told me that you were not traveling but you thought that it would be good to meet more family members (as they were literally around the corner!)

You were so right with that thought!... On the 17th I flew to Graz but the first time I visited the country was with you and I am glad that we did a lot of walk around the town because when I arrived I could know where I was and it wasn't unfamiliar to me. But Sylvia and Andy were waiting for me right outside the arrivals door at the airport so it was so easy to find them and for them to find me! hehe. Andy had to spot me (Mark did a good job about our Skype chat so we could see each other and some picture training there too I think! hehe)

It was really good to arrive and get a massive hug (and I mean massive as if I knew me for ages!) from Andy then from Sylvia. Then we headed to Sylvia's house on the taxi. Graz was hot and sunny and I couldn't believe my eyes to see such a beautiful town in summer. Last time we went it was freezing but it was still a beautiful town! We then had a good catch up at home and talked about everything and we called you as well as you were worried about me and your mum not spotting me. Although you were miles away you were worried like a dad that is letting his daughter go on a first date! haha.... Calls from Australia to your mum, messaging me on my phone, etc etc.... hehe xx

After that, your mum and I headed to the Hotel and we had another catch up. I think I told her lots and lots of thing and she did too and we went to bed at 2am or later. It was a nice girly chat and I felt at home. Your mum was such a nice and happy person (and I was worried that she might not be the chatty type! how wrong I was!) We also went for a walk around town and we spotted the first signs that we like 'Jewellery' a lot and even the same pieces and colours. Very random but our tastes are so similar!...

On Saturday we went to Slovenia, which was a great trip! we had a massive ice-cream and ordered the same food from the menu! (see photo on the right) your mum took photos of us in the restaurant of the two of us and I use her camera to take a few shots of the city but unfortunately they travelled to Australia with her. I have got a few shots though and I have put them here. I also found a bag with my name, I am a brand in Slovenia! amazing!

Sunday, when I was leaving it was really good too because your mum took Sylvia and I to a very nice restaurant inside the airport so we had a nice lunch before me traveling back to the UK and I a took a lovely picture of them. Sylvia did enjoy the treat and was so happy, she didn't even want to let me go at the airport! she was holding my arm and I thought I was going to stay in Graz! hehe...

It was a wonderful trip overall and I am glad that I did go and met the family,
I am excited now about meeting them all in Australia soon, I cannot wait to meet the rest of the Suransky family but more importantly:

I cannot wait to be with the most important Suransky person for me! and this is you my sweet Mark!! I am counting the days to witness all our plans to come reality and go according to what we are carefully planning and working towards.....

It is going to be A...May....Zing!  :) xxxx

A bit on the work side

The last two weeks I have been in my insurance job. So far it has purely been training. I am learning a lot and it is really good but involves a lot of concentration and has so far been quite interesting. I am glad to have been offered this position for a variety of reasons.

Firstly, savings is key right now for Elisa and I and am now getting that side happening. Secondly, it is a great small firm to work for and the people there are all friendly and due to its size, it is growing at a more rapid rate thereby allowing me to develop alongside the companies growth. Thirdly, it is not too far from home, so is well positioned between where I am living now to the city. Lastly, the insurance industry is completely different to my usual financial investment jobs in the past..so it is always good to change it up and learn new skills in a new and exciting industry. The company is called MBS Insurance, a risk broker agency that specialises in specific personal and business insurances.

Now that I have a job, it seems saving can now begin which is great!

Elisa my gorgeous cariño is also getting a lot done.. aren't you babe, lots and lots done! : )
Already 2 applications forwarded off, savings underway for a family visit to see Mom and Dad in Buenos Aires and also near to arranging our Aussie visa which is the final visa arrangements.
Not only that but working it tough with overtime and weekends -  but all towards the goals which is great

I look forward to our skype chat this weekend gorgeous (Once my hermosa cariño gets the rest she deserves..a nice long saturday nights sleep to catch up and feel revived from all the overtime done as of lately.)

We always ensure we stay communicating and our weekends are definitely the best as we get time to visually catch up and see each other which is a..may...zing (always the highlight of the week).
Hun, I have sent you a lovely surprise (an early gift, which you can start using now) as I don't want you waiting.. so best you get it now (should arrive to work on 14-15th august). Anyhow, I hope you enjoy using it! I look forwarded to hearing from you about your receipt of it.

I think its time now to also relax, its late on a friday night and my eyes are sore from a full training week at work. Anyway best to continue this blog when I am fresher. I love you babe, always and forever (although more and more as each days passes by). I also hope you enjoy your steak house meal tonight. Send me some pictures  :) xxxxx

Things are happening..and it is a good feeling!

Yes, I know.. lately it has been all Elisa creating new posts, although I think my comments below posts also do count as part of a blog and its history. Now its my turn for sure..

Well, the good news is YAY..I finally got a job that is full time and it is in Client Services with an insurance firm, so glad as it is more in line with what I did in the UK. I am also happy as this is the start of our long term savings for our future life together.

Other news is Elisa, my gorgeous loving and beautiful novia has also got the ball rolling on her end.. including arranging certifying original documents and obtaining original notary translations. This is the start of the movement and is an exciting time as now we can see things happening. (Thankfully we also located a missing original birth certificate, which we thought went missing, but luckily it turned up in her bedroom. Phew.)

It is very exciting that our 1 year anniversary is nearly arriving. It is 18th September (taken from our first date) so not long after my 33rd (Oh Vey, does that sound right..) I feel younger each day heehe.
I am confident in saying this will be our only anniversary apart ever. It will teach us and many others that love, support and dedication to persevere in any relationship will pay off (whether it be that they are far apart or together). A sacrifice to endure of epic proportions but amassed with a gift and joy like no other, of the end result being a loving life together.. with your perfect other half, who you love and appreciate for the remainder of your life. What a great end result : ) I love you so much my carino, always and forever.

Looking forward to our continued dedication to get ourselves together, it WILL happen, nothing can stop US. Hope to post some info on our Paris trip at some stage, and also I think Elisa may post something soon on her recent Austria trip where she met my Mother and Grandmother on her own.

Love you tons Gorgeous xxx

Sweet as peanut butter KitKats...

Okay, I guess it is time for me to write again isn't it Mark? Because you haven't made the effort, to do so (shocking, and yes, everybody needs to know this!...he he) I decided to write.

What would be today's topic? Erm...let me think? well I am not sure but it can lead to so many spontaneous thoughts and I am using my new downloaded eblogger application from my phone, so here we go:

I don't know if you have noticed this but we are very close to enter the 11th month since we first met and I can't believe how quickly it went! I am still trying to adapt to a life with you living miles away from me (a temporary arrangement).

I was so used to finishing work, looking forward to the end of my work shift and taking my train straight back to Chancery Lane to see you again and have a relaxing evening together. I know that you had to cope with my present sad moments, which I can only say "sorry, I'm human and a bit (just a bit) weaker than you" or you are so good at remaining stronger (which is my thought). Imagine the two of us being weak? This relationship could collapse so, in fact, I am very proud of you "being there for me" when I most needed it. You have been great at calming me down when I am a bit confused and sad about this situation and you are always remaining strong (even if you are equally suffering as I do)
Anyway, this is not meant to be a sad post, but a happy one and I don't even know where I am going with this so I will move on (I thought everyone should know about this characteristic of yours too...he he)

Well, in fact soon it will be our first year!...and time goes by so quickly. Every time I have to go to Holborn or even Chancery Lane I have lots of nice stories to remember about you which is great and looking forward to relive them again!.

Almost everything reminds me of you. Even small things like  seeing this.... (see photo)
I remember that day when KitKat was doing that competition about what will be the most voted flavour and we walked around all the convenience stores in central London (and I mean ALL of them, one by one) in the quest of searching for the peanut butter one!...you even bought one online that cost you a fortune!...  I know, all for the sake of a yummy peanut butter chocolate!

As the competition is now close, I see these peanut butter KitKats everywhere! and I cannot contain my smiles. Although we were so determined to find it and entered every single shop we were not successful at that time!...oh well, at least I can say that we might have a Guiness  record and we are not even aware of! I want my certificate - Ha ha

I think that's it from me...just a small reminder that it will be one year of happiness together soon and although we might not be physically together to celebrate, and I say might as you never know, (I want to remain positive. I, could win the lottery!) it is just the beginning of many many many many many more stories together! :)  Love you xxxx

I will write again soon

Hi Mark,

Just a quick message to say that I will be writing again soon, I just need to find the time. As you know, I do not seem to have the time these days to chill out and write. My workplace is driving me a bit nuts... and I love the challenges and all that but finding difficult to have a 'me time'.
I will find it...don't worry! Just quickly confirming that I will write back again. Promise x x x

Love you sweetie x x

Today, it is my turn to show you my collage...

Love you lots, Mark x x x

My daily pictures ...

Every day since Mark left to Australia, which I can't never remember the exact date (It is best to forget otherwise I keep counting the days and seem ages) we communicate through different mediums, Email, Whatsapp, Skype, Viber, Rebtel and two games that we play remotely using our phones: Draw Something and Words for Friends, which are two traditional games .... and Scrabble. Oh, how I love technology! now we are also playing it in Spanish, it will be great for his Spanish lessons.

As an example, today (when I wrote this article it was 12/06/2012) I received this picture. Usually I receive daily pictures. It is good to receive pictures from Mark frequently because at least it keeps us closer and we share all our stories and daily antics through our photos. I must admit that my pictures don't come daily as I sometimes forget to send one, but one thing I do is that I never forget to keep in touch as it is very important.

In addition to my pictures, it is really sweet to receive a message from my Mark when I wake up every morning. Nowadays, my daily routine is to wake up, turn the morning alarm off and check my phone for a message from Mark, I usually send him a quick message saying ' good morning', then i take my shower. Whilst I am getting ready for work I still chat a bit, then throughout the day via Whatsapp.

The time difference has been quite challenging for us but we managed to communicate frequently! Perhaps I could say that we keep in touch more regular than a couple that can see each other daily! Do you agree Mark? ...he he... But I am counting the days when I will be able to see and speak to my sweet 'other half' daily! as I miss him so much and I am so happy to have met him !!!

<MARK> I would also like to add that Elisa puts a lot of effort in to our contact as well and its such a pleasing and enjoyable experience to still be able to stay close and always in touch. Distance can't keep us away from each other. We have such a strong bond and fantastic closely knit relationship with each other and always will.

<MARK> We will continue to add to our blog page. As soon as we can - our aim is to attach a nice collage of our (so far collected) imagery that we send back and forth to each other.each and every day. I'm looking forward to doing this little project as it will add a nice supplement to our written blog.

<MARK> For now though I just want to leave a little note for my sweetheart. "Gorgeous, I'm so happy that you got to meet my Mother and Grandmother - the three of you. Was very kind of you to offer such wonderful gifts, they were very happy with them and I hope you write soon about your visit on our blog here. Love you tons, always and forever".

Addition to trip to Austria

Addition to Austria

We had such a great time, even though it wasn't enough time to see everything. As my cariño Elisa mentioned we were getting up early to see as much as we possibly could with the time we had given ourselves. The town of Graz is not very large and after 1hour or so Elisa and I was able to venture around town without any help. I do recommend the clock tower known as the Uhrtuhm which you can either see by lift, cable car or stairs.

It was nice to be able to introduce Elisa to my maternal Grandmother (last grandparent still alive). However nervous I was of introductions and not knowing wether both would get on well we both arrived at my Grandmothers flat on arrival at Graz and they seemed to be able to chat for hours which was great. I was able to breathe easy that both got on well, but also very happy that I could take a short rest whilst they discussed back and forth between themselves. We got on the train around 11am the next day as Elisa mentioned to get to Vienna, Beautiful countryside.. all the way to Vienna.  Elisa has covered most of our time there, so I am just going to say very very cultural and artistic whether it be arts, music, museums or theatre - Vienna had it all.

On our return to Graz, we had more time to enjoy the Styrian Graz food, we went out one night with Gran to a typical Graz 'locally sourced' restaurant.. where we tried all different specialties. Fish, Veal, Soups. Very tasty. On reminiscing of our special trip, it was fun and full of running around but well worth the trip. Oh and yes, Elisa has tons of photos of our lovely memories together. : )
Our trip to Austria
Our flags together at the
United Nations - Vienna
Graz City -2012
On 20/02/2012 we went to Austria for a few days. We travelled to Graz to visit Mark's grandmother and the trip was a couple of days after a big snowfall around all Europe. It was cold and some snow was still around some of the streets but it was nice to be in another country! When we arrived it was sunny and it remained with a   quite decent weather throughout all our stay

I took almost 30 or more
pictures just on the train!
Although the flight arrived on time, unfortunately we didn't arrive on time for the grandmas' 'welcome to Graz' dinner and she was a bit upset about it as the food was cold and she was worried about us not being able to get to her house because we didn't  speak the language (mother's instinct! hehe). But we were fine! Most people speak English everywhere and I had Mark that could say a couple of words in Austrian! but as I said... only a couple! he he

From Graz we decided to take the train and visit Vienna. The trip wasn't bad at all!. It only took us around four hours or so but the scenery was beautiful! Lots of house cabins in the middle of the mountains, snow, the sun shining and lakes that kept us entertained...oh, and me trying to take pictures of us two on the train but failing on must of them. When we checked them they were wither too close, one of us had their eyes closed or we looked too tired, as we woke up early every day to enjoy the holidays. Next time we will hire a photographer to come with us!...
Even though we didn't have a photographer we managed to take looooooots of pictures. I was the one taking almost all the pictures; Mark was enjoying the sightseeing and the city. All my friends and everyone know that I love to capture every single moment of my holidays (I could put it as every single second). But I am happy with our snapshots as I will be able to share my visit with family, friends (and even my children!) in future without missing any detail. I loved the trip to Austria. Vienna is so clean and very cultural, with lots  of museums, we needed more time (and £££) to visit them all.
